Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 12, 2026
Hi there! We built Did It to help you celebrate your daily wins in a simple, private way. Your privacy matters to us, so here's the deal in plain English.
What We Don't Do
- No accounts required – There's no sign-up, no login, no passwords to remember
- No personal information collected – We don't ask for your name, email, or any identifying information
- No tracking or analytics – We don't track how you use the app or share any data with third parties
- No ads – We don't show ads or share data with advertisers
- No selling your data – Your data stays yours, period
What Information Does the App Store?
Did It stores everything locally on your device:
- Your entries – The text and photos you add about what you did each day
- Your settings – Things like your reminder times, colour theme, and appearance preferences
- Your photos – Images you add to entries are stored in the app's local storage
All of this data lives only on your device. We don't have access to it, and it never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
Permissions We Request
The app needs a few permissions to work properly:
- Camera – So you can take photos to celebrate your wins
- Photos – So you can select existing images from your library
- Notifications – So we can remind you to check in and recap your day (only if you enable reminders)
You can deny any of these permissions, but some features won't work without them.
Your Data, Your Control
You're in complete control:
- Export your data – Use the Backup feature in Settings to export all your entries, photos, and settings to a file you can save anywhere
- Delete everything – There's a "Delete all your data" option in Settings that permanently removes all your entries and resets the app
- No cloud sync – Your data isn't automatically synced anywhere. It stays on your device and backs up only through your normal device backups (iCloud or Google backup, depending on your settings)
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, we'll change the "Last Updated" date at the top. Since the app doesn't collect any data from you, we don't have a way to notify you directly—but you can always check back here.
Questions?
If you have any questions about how Did It handles your privacy, feel free to reach out. Did It is designed to be a simple, private space for celebrating what you accomplish—and we're committed to keeping it that way.
